Project Overview
Developed a web application that helps communities manage waste collection while providing financial incentives. The platform connects waste producers with collectors and recycling centers, creating a sustainable ecosystem.
This was my first major project working in a team environment, introducing me to payment gateway integration and the full development lifecycle from planning to stakeholder presentations.
Challenge
Creating a system that could track waste collection, calculate earnings based on waste types and quantities, and integrate with payment systems while being user-friendly for diverse user groups.
Solution
Built a backend system with user authentication, waste tracking, and payment integration. Implemented a pricing system based on waste categories and created an admin dashboard for monitoring and management.
