This project involved close collaboration with the data analysis team to understand statistical models and translate them into efficient backend processes that could handle large datasets and provide real-time projections.
Challenge
Processing large amounts of historical traffic data efficiently while integrating real-time trend data from external APIs. The system needed to provide accurate projections quickly without overwhelming the server resources.
Solution
Implemented data caching strategies and optimized database queries for historical data retrieval. Integrated Google Trends API and created background jobs for data processing. Built RESTful endpoints that serve projection results efficiently.
